"- Yeah, absolutely on every level. I don’t see violence to be very effective especially with being a lover of history it doesn’t seem to have gotten humanity very far. Where peace have been administered and applied it’s been effective. But it kind of divides the song into two topics, first about people taking advantage of people and then the aspect where I’m talking to the person that is being taken advantage of. You could just be that object that they want you to be or you could resort to their level and strike back with machines or objects to get your will across. To make a difference, to make a change in society I find comes very much from the natural human ability to speak. So the song sort of goes into two topics but I think they intertwine because what I’m saying is: Don’t be an object. Don’t be the knife in the back of someone because it’s just going to perpetuate the cycle of violence and oppression."
